Block reference
Every block in the Strategy Builder with its settings, the export targets that can output it, and the blocks the Strategy Miner can use in a search.
The Strategy Builder has 119 blocks in 8 categories. This page lists all of them. The tables are generated from the Builder’s own block definitions, so they match the software.
- Settings are the fields on the block. A number setting shows its allowed range in parentheses. A choice setting shows its options.
- Exports to names the targets that can output the block. The targets are MT5, MT4, Pine, cTrader and Python. “All targets” means all 5. Exporting is a Pro feature.
- In the Miner shows how the Strategy Miner can use the block in a search. See Blocks the Miner can use.
- The code under a block name is its block ID. It is the name used inside saved designs.
- A Builder design shows a warning once it reaches 50 blocks. It is not a hard limit.
- The Nodes list in the Builder shows five of the categories: Utility, Indicators, Price / Info, Conditions and Actions. The blocks of Filters, Money Mgmt and Exit Strategy are not in that list. They are set in the Settings tab.

Blocks the Miner can use
The Strategy Miner does not search with every block. A search draws from 52 parts, of which 6 are selected by default. It can also add 7 filters and 7 conditions to a candidate. Two of the parts, Consecutive Bars and MA Perfect Order, are conditions, so they also appear in the condition list below.

Why a block is not exported
MT5 can output every block. The other targets cannot always do the same. When a design contains a block that the chosen target cannot output, the Builder says so. It does not leave the block out. The table below lists each reason, the targets it applies to, and what triggers it.

Some refusals depend on a setting value, not on the block itself. For example, an indicator block can be exported to Pine when its shift is 1 or more, but not when the shift is 0.
