Changelog

Changes to the Strategy Miner, the Strategy Builder and exports that you can see in the software, newest first, from October 2026.

This page lists additions and changes you can see in the software, by date, newest first. It starts on October 9, 2026. Features marked Pro need a Pro account. Entries describe what changed. They do not promise any trading result.

October 17, 2026

  • Strategy Miner: the MCP tools list_templates, get_template and list_node_vocabulary now return template names, descriptions and block labels in English. Before, some came back in Japanese. The flows, settings and exported source are unchanged.

October 16, 2026

  • Strategy Miner: the language menu shows 日本語 only on the home page, because the Japanese site is the home page only. Before, choosing 日本語 on any other page took you to the Japanese home page. An address that starts with /ja/ and has no Japanese page now opens the same page in English.

October 15, 2026

  • Strategy Miner: on the Account page, the “Completed” status badge in the billing history is now green, the same colour as its background, so the text is easier to read in the light theme. Before, it used the gold accent and was hard to read there.
  • Strategy Miner: filled gaps in the shipped price data. From August 31 to October 13, 2026 the 20:00 UTC bar was missing on some days (up to 29 days per symbol) in 22 symbols, in the 1-hour, 15-minute and long-history files. Those bars are now included, and the other bars are unchanged. Results for runs that cover those days can differ slightly.

October 14, 2026

  • Strategy Miner: the price data is refreshed to October 13, 2026 for every symbol (it ended on May 27, 2026). Gold (XAUUSD) now runs to the same date instead of stopping on January 29, 2026. Data you already downloaded is replaced on your next visit, so results from before the refresh can differ slightly.

  • Strategy Miner: the menu and the footer are now the same on every page of the site. The header has Products, Free tools, Learn and Pricing, with Search, Sign in and Get Pro on the right. The footer lists the same links as the home page, including Free tools, Glossary, Pro recipes, FAQ, Refund Policy and Security Policy. On phones the theme and language buttons stay in the header.

  • Strategy Miner: when your card or bank declines a Pro payment on the Pricing page, the page now says so, says you were not charged, and takes you back to choosing another payment method. Before, it wrongly said the payment was approved and asked you to contact support.

  • Strategy Miner: the Friday close hour now goes from 0 to 20 (0 = off). The test data ends on Fridays at hour 21, so a later hour never fired on Friday and closed trades at a lower Sunday price, which hurt buy trades only. A saved value of 21 to 24 is now treated as 20. Results with the default of 0 are unchanged. The AI (MCP) tool open_strategy_miner takes riday_close_hour from 1 to 20 the same way.

  • Strategy Miner: the Japanese note about low USDJPY volume no longer names a broker.

  • Docs: a new page, Grow from my best (Pro), explains the option that starts a Strategy Miner search from the strategies in your vault and scores them again with every run. It is off by default. The Strategy Miner home page and the Pro plan list now mention it.

  • Strategy Miner: the home page is shorter. Each section now has a short summary and a real screenshot of the Miner, the Checks table, Optimize, Combine, Prop check and an AI-built flow. The full lists of checks and tools are in these docs.

  • AI (MCP): the server now tells your AI that Hand to AI and result IDs are Pro only, so it no longer asks a demo user for a result ID after it opens a Miner link.

October 13, 2026

  • Strategy Miner: without Pro, the demo now shows a sample result prepared in advance for the Symbol and Timeframe you choose, instead of running a search in your browser. The note above the settings says Sample view. Pro runs are unchanged.
  • Builder: importing a JSON file that is not a Builder flow now shows only “Invalid file: missing drawflow data”. It no longer also shows “Flow imported”.
  • Builder: the validation bar at the block limit now names the limit, “Node limit reached (50). Performance may degrade.”
  • Builder: the note in the Measure window now points to the downloaded source for the definitive numbers, instead of describing a compiled EA run in the tester.
  • Builder: when you are not signed in, Measure and Robustness matrix show the sign-in message as soon as you click. Nothing is sent.
  • Builder: the guided tour’s Property Panel step no longer says that a code preview updates below. It now says the generated source comes with a Pro export.
  • Builder: the + button on a block now sits just to the right of the output dot instead of over its left half, so a drag from the dot starts a connection.
  • Strategy Miner: the stability sieve now runs in the browser. It was listed as a check but did not run, so the Checks table shows a Stability sieve row and a run can keep a little fewer candidates than before.
  • Strategy Miner: the free demo now shows the Stability sieve row and mark in its sample results, the same checks as a Pro run.
  • Strategy Miner: in the Advanced settings panel, Parts to search, More indicators and Extra filters show the same names as the Strategy Builder instead of short codes such as ma, rsi and sess.
  • Pricing: the Pro purchase box shows only the step that applies. Before you sign in it shows the sign-in button, and after you sign in it shows the consent box and the PayPal buttons. Before, a hidden step could stay on screen.
  • Strategy Builder: Download .cs for cTrader saves EA_Builder.cs again. The safety check run on the generated code mistook the C# double.NaN for a fault and withheld the file. Code that is really broken is still withheld, and the message now follows the page language.
  • Strategy Miner: the Portfolio tile “Drawdown vs. each alone” now describes its calculation correctly: the combined maximum drawdown divided by the sum of each strategy’s own maximum drawdown, each multiplied by its multiplier in the combination. The numbers did not change.
  • Strategy Miner: the CSV length messages now say 8,000 hourly bars is about 1.3 years (it said 1.5), matching the length shown for an accepted file. The 8,000-bar minimum did not change.
  • Strategy Miner: when an add-on symbol is reset to EURUSD because you chose a long period (8 or 10 years) or the 15-minute timeframe, the old symbol’s note and the spread default are now reset too.
  • Strategy Miner: result messages now use the singular when the count is 1 (for example “1 candidate strategy survived”), in English and in languages that have a singular form.
  • Builder: on screens narrower than about 1900 px the export target buttons move to a second row of the top bar, so Download and the other buttons stay on screen and clear of the corner logo. On phones the target names are shortened to MT5, MT4, TradingView, cTrader and Python.
  • Strategy Miner: the scripts the site sends to your browser are now minified and carry a copyright notice. Results are unchanged. The Terms of Service (Section 8) now prohibit reverse engineering, bulk extraction by automated means including AI tools, and use of the software to build a competing product.
  • Strategy Miner: a new Grow from my best option starts a search from the best strategies in your vault, and from earlier rounds in a continuous search (Pro, off by default).
  • Strategy Miner: a new option leaves out the most recent 12 months of price data from the search, so the later period stays unseen (Pro).

October 12, 2026

  • Strategy Miner: WTI and Brent crude oil are available as add-on symbols.
  • Strategy Miner: silver and six stock indices are available as add-on symbols.
  • Strategy Miner: gold (XAUUSD) is available as an add-on symbol.
  • Strategy Miner: the generator offers the 15-minute (M15) and 30-minute (M30) timeframes.
  • Strategy Miner: a new Optimize parameters step looks for a stable plateau of settings and recommends its center (Pro).
  • Strategy Miner: the vault can combine several saved strategies into a portfolio (Pro).
  • Strategy Miner: a new List on QuantsDepot button in the vault and in the Builder (Pro).
  • Strategy Miner: a new check, year by year, requires most calendar years to be positive.

October 11, 2026

  • Strategy Miner: the simple backtest now fills a stop loss or take profit at the bar’s open price when the bar opens past it (a gap).
  • Strategy Miner: seven more add-on symbols (17 in total at that date).
  • Strategy Miner: add-on symbols can use volume-based parts. The 8-year and 10-year periods apply to only some of them: today 18 of the 27 add-on symbols have them, and the others stay at 5 years (see Symbols).
  • Strategy Miner: the generator has its own page at /strategy-miner, with the vault on the same page.
  • Strategy Miner: the vault keeps your generated strategies and skips repeats in later runs (Pro).
  • Strategy Miner: continuous search runs rounds until you stop it (Pro).
  • Strategy Miner: the 8-year and 10-year periods are available on the built-in symbols (Pro). See Symbols, timeframes and data.
  • Strategy Miner: a robustness re-check stage runs after the search and offers a Strict preset (Pro).
  • Strategy Miner: the generator adds volume data and eight volume-based parts.
  • Strategy Miner: you can import your own bar data as a CSV file. The file stays in your browser and is not sent to a server (Pro).
  • Strategy Miner: CSV import reads UTF-16 exports from MetaTrader.
  • Strategy Miner: add-on symbols (10 at first) can be downloaded on demand. Each download is kept in your browser.

October 10, 2026

  • Export: cTrader (C# cBot) is a new export target (Pro).
  • Export: Python is a new export target (Pro).
  • Export: TradingView Pine Script is a new export target (Pro).
  • Export: MetaTrader 4 (MQL4) is a new export target, with a switch between MT5 and MT4 in the Builder (Pro).
  • Export: MQL5, MQL4 and Pine files start with a VALIDATION SETTINGS comment block that lists what the strategy was checked under.
  • Export: the non-MT5 targets refuse a flow where an indicator is wired straight into an action, because the signal would be always true, and give the reason. The MT5 output is unchanged.
  • Strategy Miner: advanced settings choose the parts, the number of conditions (with OR and NOT), and extra filters, and a link can open the generator with settings filled in (Pro).
  • Strategy Miner: a new prop-firm check estimates a pass rate, the rule that fails most often and a risk percentage (Pro).
  • Strategy Miner: GBPUSD joined the built-in symbols.
  • Strategy Miner: when you open a candidate in the Builder, its Measure result uses the generator’s numbers. This also covers a candidate you edited, with the generator’s costs.
  • Strategy Miner: the robustness matrix is measured in your browser with the generator’s engine.
  • Strategy Miner: realism settings convert profit at the rate at the close of the trade.
  • AI (MCP): new tools open_strategy_miner and get_miner_results, and a Hand results to AI option on the Miner (Pro).
  • Builder: the EA and Indicator modes are in one Builder, and indicator export is Pro only.
  • Builder: its address is now /strategy-builder, and the tool is named Strategy Builder across the site.
  • Builder: the Indicator Builder’s block settings open as a bottom sheet on phones and small windows.
  • Tools: a new Prop Report tool turns MT5 results into a prop-firm pass-rate check. The summary is free and the breakdown is Pro.

October 9, 2026

  • Export: a target that cannot express a block now refuses it and gives the reason, instead of leaving it out.
  • Strategy Miner: account and cost settings, such as spread, commission, swap and session hours, are available (Pro).
  • Strategy Miner: a realism option and a per-stage breakdown of dropped candidates.
  • Strategy Miner: a robustness stage checks candidates with parameter changes, a Monte Carlo test, doubled spread and stability over time.
  • Strategy Miner: the search uses all CPU cores and gives the same result for the same settings, and the generator keeps recent results.
  • Export: generated MQL5 sets the order filling mode from the symbol.
